Pilgrimage in Sri Lanka to Kandy

The goal of this pilgrimage across the beautiful Sri Lanka Island will be the Tooth-Temple in Kandy. Dr. Jes T.Y. Lim wants to spent a lot of time with the group here for a mutual meditation as well as pause in silence at this powerful holy place, and come to inner peace.

Buddhas tooth relic

The pilgrimage will be rounded off by a side trip to some interesting places and an elephant visitation as well as excursions to the countryside to a tea plantation “for a cup of Ceylon Tea“. It is not the goal to see as much as possible in Sri Lanka with hours of bus driving attached to it, but to get entirely engaged with the force field which surrounds the holy relic of Buddhas tooth, and thus to get into your spiritual power.

Holy Place

In Kandy lies a relic of Buddhas tooth which is honored there since over a thousand years. Everyday, mornings and evenings, there are impressive ceremonies being performed in the beautiful designed temple to honor Buddha with music and food sacrifices. The Buddhist population of Sri Lanka swarms to this holy place for prayers and blessings. Around the temple there are monkeys playing. It is a place to pause, to stop, and to find oneself. A place, which can trigger a lot of deep experiences.
